Grip on SQL B.V. was founded by Dan Jernberg. Our main focus is helping customers to a better grip on their SQL Server database environments. Simplify and streamline maintenance tasks and to enable delegation to any IT staff team. This will not only improve efficiency, but also make the organisation more agile.
QGrip
To support our focus, we developed an innovative new database management tool for SQL Server, called QGrip. QGrip has been built using a combination of T-SQL, PowerShell and .Net, which are standard components in most Windows/SQL Server environments. Next to primarily being an out-of-the-box centralised Backup & Maintenance tool, QGrip streamlines, simplifies, standardises and bundles most of the common features and controls necessary to manage SQL Server databases. Consultancy
We are also available for short-running SQL Server related projects. This can be anything from data modelling and writing stored procedures to developing PowerShell scripts for supporting ad-hoc processes.
My name is Dan Jernberg and I am the CEO and founder of Grip on SQL BV. I studied Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam and I have been working in ICT since 1995 as Database Administrator and Database Developer. Half Dutch, half Swedish and living in Amsterdam. I have designed and built QGrip; the tool I had been missing myself in my daily professional activities and being convinced that others have as well.
